No card. No contract. Fill in the form and we will call you, move the balances out of your notebook, and set the store up with you.
- 01
We call you within one business day
A real person from the team — Somali or English — at a quiet hour for the counter. Fifteen minutes, no script.
- 02
We move your paper book over, free
Photograph your pages or send a spreadsheet. We type in every macmiil and every balance. Most stores are done in two days.
- 03
You are live before the weekend
Record your first deyn on Thursday. Send your first Friday xasuusin. Watch what comes back over the weekend.

Tell us about your bakhaar
A few quick answers — including when to call and in which language. We do the rest of the setup with you on the phone.
Twenty minutes, and bring the book
A walkthrough on your phone or the computer at the counter — in Af-Soomaali or English. Put your paper book on the table and we will show you exactly how those pages move across.
- Somali or English — choose on the form.
- Bring the notebook. We use your real balances.
- Video call or a plain phone call.
- Evenings and Saturdays available.
Your book, on screen
Hold your notebook up to the camera. We put three of your real customers into a live account so you see your own numbers, not a demo store.
A credit sale and a payment
Add $18.40 of alaab to Hassan Jama. Take $50 off Ubax Mohamud. Print the receipt. That is the whole daily job.
Friday reminders
Write one xasuusin in Somali, schedule it for 9:00 AM Friday, and see exactly what lands on your customer’s phone.
Your questions
Pricing, staff accounts, second store, what happens if you stop. Straight answers.
A person answers.
Not a ticket number.
Four ways in, depending on what you need. All of them end with a human in Minneapolis who knows what a deyn book is.
New stores & pricing
Questions about plans, multiple locations, or whether DeynBook fits the way your shop already works.
- Replies inside 3 hours, Mon–Sat
- Ask for a written quote if you run 2+ stores
Existing customers
Something not adding up, a reminder that did not send, a staff account to add or remove.
- Mon–Sat 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM CT
- Sunday 12:00 – 6:00 PM CT
- Median first reply: 14 minutes
Talk to us in Af-Soomaali
Waan ku hadalnaa Af-Soomaali iyo Ingiriisi. Every person on the support line speaks both — no interpreter, no waiting for a callback.
- Somali line answered by name, not a menu
Help center
The questions people ask in the minute before they sign up — contracts, moving the paper book over, keeping customer balances private, working in Somali.
- Answers in English and Somali
- No login needed
The four we hear most
Short answers. The long ones are on the pricing page.
No. DeynBook is month to month, and you can cancel any time from your settings page. If you pay yearly you save about 16%, and if you cancel mid-year we refund the unused months.
We move them for you. Send us a photo of your pages or a spreadsheet during onboarding and our team enters the balances for you at no cost. Most stores are fully migrated within two business days.
Everything is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest with AES-256. Access is scoped by role, so a cashier can record a sale without seeing the whole ledger. We keep audit logs of every balance change, run automatic daily backups, and we never sell or share customer data.
Yes. The whole interface switches between English and Somali, reminder templates come in both languages, and our support line is answered by people who speak both.

You keep the neighbourhood fed and you carry people until payday.
The least we can do is keep the book straight.
